Youth Strength & Conditioning

Our Youth Strength & Conditioning training sessions are aimed to help young athletes improve their athletic performance while reducing the likelihood of injury. This is achieved through a commitment to educating these athletes on the importance of correct techniques for both long and short term athletic development. 

 

The key focus of these sessions is to target fundamental lifting techniques, jump & land movements and the specific movements that are integral to the young athlete’s chosen sport through a completely individualised program.

My son joined the team at Melbourne Athletic in Sep 2019 starting their Strength & Conditioning program and as a parent I couldn’t be happier. I can see they have Logan’s best interests at heart and will adjust his program to suit his needs. They are also very flexible if we need to change training days or times which is extremely helpful with our changing schedule. I know the program is working for Logan, not only can I see it in his physical appearance, but he has had no injuries this past year with a lot less trips to the physio. I’m thankful to Justin, Michael & James for their work with Logan and look forward to watching him achieve his sporting goals with the help of Melbourne Athletic.
