The hardest things about skiing is the power of the boat, since being at Melbourne Athletic I've been able to hold onto it a lot more. I've improved by 5m the last year in jump and that's all thanks to Melbourne Athletic. Generally gyms are male dominated but here it's not like that, everyone makes you feel comfortable and welcome and we all get around eachother.CaitlinWater Skier

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What ages should athletes start S&C training?
We train athletes as young as 7, with their training consisting of movement quality, running/jumping technique more so than weight training.
Q2: Do you do 1 on 1/Private Coaching?
A big part of our model and point of difference is Private Coaching Sessions. This allows us to rapidly progress athlete development compared to group training, with more attention to detail and flexibility within sessions and programming.
Q3: How many sessions do athletes complete a week?
The simple answer is as many as the athlete needs to maximise their performance. We can tailor programming to compliment training and stages of competition (pre-season, in-season, off-season ect) and include different training options (sprint sessions, conditioning, off-leg conditioning, swimming, mobility ect).
Q4: How does the program individualize to each athlete?
We begin our intake with Initial Athletic Testing, where athletes are tested through our battery which includes Force, Power, Reactive Power, Speed & Agility testing to determine areas of strength and improvement. Programs are then specifically designed based on these results to create the best athletic profile possible.
